Hi all,
I’m thinking of writing to Apple accessibility but thought I’d ask here first,
as I’m not sure if it is a bug or if it is intentional. If I try to navigate an
email in the native email app on the iPhone it doesn’t behave the way I would
expect. For example the Apple VIS newsletter that I got last week is set out
with headings and I will choose headings from the rotor and then swipe down
heading bye heading until I find something I might be interested in, then I
will swipe across to the right to read the first line. If I’m not interested
I’d expect to be able to swipe down again to the next heading. But I have to
choose headings in the rotor again because the rotor had been changed to
actions as soon as I swiped right to read the first line of that heading. It
would be nice if the rotor would stay on the function I chose.
