Greetings,

1. What do you do productivity wise with your Android device?
I used my moto G phone in place of a computer for nearly a year. Obviously
I did email, some high leverage web browsing such as filing my taxes online
and filling out job applications, and advanced word and data processing.
I also did web programming in html, css, java script, and php with code
editors, file transfers with ftp, maths, and so on. I had at various
times, accessible third party project management tools, accounting
packages, and receipt trackers for small business. And of course, a lot of
cloud services like google drive, one and dropbox.
2. What are some good resources, such as podcasts, that I could use to
learn more about apps and TalkBack itself?
Inclusiveandroid.com doesn't get updated as often as we'd like, but just
launched a new podcast. You can help by reviewing your device and any apps
you find. The app directory with accessibility ratings is our best feature.
3. What areas of Android are really inaccessible?
None. There are numerous minor enhancements I would like to see, such as
ability to add web elements to the granularities menue, but the system
itself works well in all respects. That's not to say you won't experience
a learning curve.
4. What, in your opinion, are the most serious bugs in TalkBack?
I don't experience any stability or performance issues in talkback.
Importing and exporting graphics label files was broken at one point. I'm
not sure if it still is, but that would be the biggest non working thing I
can think of. Brailleback is a bit of a different story.
5. What are some accessible games for Android?
Check inclusive android's game section.
Thanks so much in advance.
On a parting note, I noticed a few of your questions tended to a rather
dark bbent. I'd just like to emphasize some real plus points in talkback.
Gestures are initially very simple and highly configureable.
The selection of speech synthesizers available is outstanding as the speech
API is available system wide. I'm currently using acapella tracy for example.
Talkback does a good job handling maths and describing format elements on
request.
