Hi Tracy, I have a 2012 mac mini hooked to my 46-inch 1080p tv and a sonos 5.1 sound system. I use it for movies tv shows and the like. It works great. I just picked up a Yodamaster dual-drive enclosure from amazon and put two 8tb drives in it to house my itunes library. It works very well for an entertainment pc. I'm not sure about streaming music to the whole house since I've never done that. Hope this helps! Jeff
