Hello, Just wanted to let everyone know that I was able to fix the problem. Again google to the rescue! Appears there are some files created with a .lck extension when the guest is up. By going to the vmware machine, entering command I for get info I was able to locate the lock file (.lck) and move it to trash. That fixed it. Looks like a common problem based on the number of hits I got!
