The memory history is over ridden each time a new copy to the clipboard is done.
It is very useful to be able to choose one or more items from previous clipboard items to paste. I use a memory manager which retains a list of cllipboard history items for reuse at will. One arrows to the item desired, choosing it is pasted at the current cursor position. It can be configured for various appearance and functions. For example, one is for it to be launched at bootup. It can retain one word or an entire page of text or all text using the copy all command.. -- It appears as a menu extra and is chosen as any item located there. As an example of use, here is the app store info, I created it by choosing the app name and url from the clipboard history list of previous copies. for each line: Flycut (Clipboard manager) on the Mac App Store XB https://apps.apple.com/in/app/flycut-clipboard-manager/id442160987?mt=12 -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list.
