Hi everyone, We’ve had a big promotion out here in Oregon to get the energy efficient thermostats, and I took advantage this week to get a Google Nest E for my system. I have both Google Home and the Nest app. So far, I’ve discovered that even though Google Home is supposed to work with the Nest, you can only actually raise and lower the temperature from Google Home. While the Nest app seems to be fairly accessible, one of the things I’ve found difficult to figure out is how to set up a schedule. Pardon the repeat question if this has come up before, but does anyone have any ideas on whether or not you can, in fact, create your own schedule using the Nest app? For now, I’ve got the auto scheduler turned on and will raise and lower temperature as I need to. However, it would be good to know if I can modify things down the road if necessary. I’d also be interested in other comments and tips about using the app.
