On the Mac now you have to allow third party apps to be able to run. So launch he app it will say this isn’t verified cancel or move to trash. Open system preferences up and go to security and hit the lock button to unlock. Now go to open anyway for braille blaster and this should allow you to open it. I just did this myself and it launched.
