Hi, Yes. Connect your iPhone to your Mac with the USB charging cable. On your Mac, open QuickTime from the Applications folder. Cancel the Open dialog. From the File menu, select "New Movie Recording". Select your iPhone from the source menu and make sure that the input volume is not muted. Start the movie on your iPhone and it will display on the Mac. This is doable from iPad as well.
