Hi Simon,

What you suggested was actually exactly what I was doing, but Windows still 
could not see the drive. However, I did discover what was going on, but I have 
no idea why: I had logged on to Windows using my Microsoft account, rather than 
a local account. As soon as I switched to my local account, I was able to get 
to the drive via IP address, and have mapped the folders I needed.
