No, it definitely does not feel cold here to me. It is not always this

snow here, but the ground was warm, so it was gone quickly.
As they say, if you don’t like the weather in Texas, wait a few minutes, and it
will change; except in the summer, when it is just plain hot.

Hi Brad,

"Enjoy" may be a misleading verb. "Tolerate" might be more appropriate. Looks
like we're stuck with this garbage for the rest of the week too. Supposed to
go down to -39 tomorrow night, don't even care to know the "Feels Like" temp.
Oh well, it's not usually this bad for too many days/weeks in a row. Not this
cold everywhere in Canada either, just us northern and prairie folk that get it
the worst. 60 F would be shorts weather now :). People who say that it
doesn't snow when it's this cold, haven't lived up here. I spent three hours
yesterday outside shovelling. Oh well, enough complaining. Enjoy your north
Texas weather, and I hope it doesn't feel cold to you.

Hi,

I use both the Weather app and an app for Environment Canada. The Weather app
works for me, although it announces "No Weather Information" initially when it
opens, but within a second or two the information shows up. Simon, we have the
inverse of you right now. The outside temperature is -35 C and feels like -41.
Maybe we should blend the two places together and get a much more pleasant
outcome. At least from my prospective, not necessarily yours though :).

Who cares about 1 degree,

It’s just called hot!

I use an app called Weather Office. It is straight forward, with no cute stuff
or jokes and it is VoiceOver accessible. You can find it on the AppStore. I
can’t remember if I had to pay for it, but if I did, it wasn’t much and it was
worth it.

I have become increasingly dissatisfied with the weather app that comes with
the iPhone. It seems like I almost never get a temperature reading. It’s
usually blank. I also have the dark sky. Are used to really love that app, as
it provided accurate information and precipitation etc. But these days, it’s
all over the place. Predicted temperatures are crazy. Like when it predicted
that it was going to fall to 20° here in Eugene. Not that that can’t happen,
but nobody else was predicting that, and it didn’t get anywhere close I wonder
what apps people are using, which give them accurate local information, not
just based on some big general area. Dark sky claims to do that, or at least it
used to. I don’t care about funny jokes, such as are apparently a feature of a
program called Weather karat or carat whether something. I just want accurate
weather that is relevant to my part of town.
