Hi, Officially, both Apple Music and iTunes Match have facility for ripped personal music. I've notice two problems that arise with only Apple Music. First, Apple Music likes to replace your ripped version with either a live version or some other remastered version that wasn't the original version you're used to listening to. If you have loads of time, you can find the proper version in Apple Music and add it to your Library to fix the issue. Second, if you've had iTunes Match previously, and songs have been matched through the service, but those songs are not available within Apple Music, then those songs are not available to you anymore. If you still have the music in your physical collection and are able to re-add it to your Library, then it will be added and accessible to you. Otherwise, having both iTunes Match and Apple Music is of benefit to you. When playing music, the OS will default to the iTunes Match version instead of the Apple Music version fixing some of these issues.
