I've used a couple of netgear nighthawk devices and the web interface has been pretty good.

While I have no direct experience with this particular device, I would make sure of my ability to return it for a full refund should it not work out. My personal advice is to choose the best hardware I can obtain that is fully supported by Open WRT: http://OpenWRT.org Then, I don't bother with the shipping software any longer than necessary to replace it with Open WRT whose web interface is quite accessible, should I choose to use it's web interface. I generally configure mine by making a terminal connection to the unit over ssh.
