Hi, I'm not sure why or how this can be disabled. The photo needs to first be analyzed by the engine which, is done either while in the Photos app or by various apps that interact with photo attachments like Messages or Mail. If it's not doing this immediately, try a three-finger single tap when focus is on the photo to see if it knows what is in the photo. I'm not positive, but, basically, I believe that it will analyze photos in the Photos app, but does not always analyze those connected to other apps unless requested. I welcome any clarification or correction though.
