I like Just Press Record. You can use it on a Mac, iPhone or an iPad. You can record on your Mac or iDevice and the recording file will show up in a folder in your iCloud drive, where you can get it and attach it to an email or do whatever you need to do with it. You may have to pay for the app, but I don’t think it is very much and whatever it cost, it is well worth it.
