When I last used Microsoft Teams on the Mac, it seemed to be accessible, but I didn't work with it extensively. I've been using it under Windows recently. My understanding is that it is an Electron application, so the user interface is the same across multiple operating systems.
When you're in a meeting, there is a "share" button, if I remember correctly. I haven't tried it, but I suspect it will give you the option to share a file. Also, if you have a Teams channel set up to which everyone you want has access, you can share a file there. The Files tab would be the place to look.
