Hi Brad, In 99% of the cases, I expect that you're right. I have had colleagues damage files in the past though, thus the caution. Most of these were word processing files that people were attempting to make a .DOC or .DOCX file from another format if I remember correctly, so this is why I use the "could", or "may" language so often.
