Hi,

So, after playing with this for a while, I've determined that the process is
not particularly accessible, nor intuitive, but doable with VO. Yes, the
devices do show up on your Apple Watch, but when you double-tap them prior to
proper pairing, the Remote app on the Watch is unresponsive. This is what I
had to do,

1. Open the Music app on my Mac.
2. In the Sidebar, select my Apple Watch.

Note, if you don't see it there right away, go into the Remote app on your
Watch, then double-tap the Add button. A four digit code will be displayed and
available for you to enter on the Mac.

3. Again, make sure that the Apple Watch is selected in the Sidebar in the
Devices section.
4. Press shift tab and VO probably won't announce anything, but I believe that
it is focused on the proper fields.
5. Enter the four digit PIN needed to pair the Watch.

If it pairs properly, the Music app will do something, not sure exactly what,
but then your Watch should update its screen and announce that the volume is at
100% instead of 0%. If that happens, you're now good to use the Remote app on
your Apple Watch to control the Music app on your Mac. If it does not work,
make sure that your Apple Watch is selected in the Sidebar, then pressing tab
more times and each time that you land on something where VO doesn't announce
anything, try entering the four digit PIN from the Apple Watch. Sooner or
later it should take.

Thanks for bringing this up, it was a fun challenge, and now I know something
new.

Later...

Hi,

As far as I can tell, if you are using the same Apple ID on the watch as you
are on the computer, and, if you have Home Sharing enabled on the computer,
then you shouldn’t need to do anything with that code. It should just show up.
I will confirm later with my MBP. My MacPro is older and does not always
handle these newer features and that is the computer I have access to right now.
