Hi Eric, I have the advantage of having access to two machines and have only noticed this on my one. I might see if I can get hold of Apple accessibility and see if I can give them remote access to my machine so they can see what is going on. . shame that we haven[’t got Apple stores in New Zealand or I would have gone into store to show them what is happening.. And the retail store I got my Mac from wouldn’t understand VoiceOver anyway.
