I haven't tried a solution, but every 90 days we have a corporate policy of requiring a password change. Usually I use the JAMF self service change password functions for this, but this time, I was on the Microsoft Security page updating my new iPhone SE for authenticator and saw a change password link. Since my password was expiring in less than 24 hours, I was lazy and changed it there. JAMF then apparently pushed this through. I then had failures of Mail not retrieving and calendar not syncing, so I figured that my Keychain must be locked. I went into Keychain access, and locked/unlocked my login keychain which suprsisingly was using the password I had just given to the AD change password. At this point, everything seems to be updated except the File Vault password. So, yeah I could change my password again but I will first look, in Users and Groups and see if I can just push a new password to the BIOS for FileVault. Luckily, I don't have a T2 chip enabled computer, so I am not too worried about bricking the system. I'll followup tomorrow.
