Howdy folks. Here’s a quick question, and if the answer is simple and easy, I’m hoping that others can enlighten me.
Using a Mac and the Google Chrome browser, is there a more efficient way of sjoining Zoom meetings when activating a link? My current process is to press Return on the link, causing the Chrome browser to open. Once this happens, I have to stop interacting with the web page, then move to the pop-up, interact with it, and then VO+Right to the Open Zoom button. Now, I personally don’t have any issues doing this, but in thinking of being more efficient, and in showing some of my clients an easier method, I’m wondering if there is a different way. For example, does Google Chrome have a hot key to focus a pop-up notification. Something similar to focusing other areas. In Windows, there is a hot key, Alt+Shift+A, but I haven’t been able to find an equivalent Hot key for Mac. In doing some research, I found that Chrome used to allow for a check box to always and automatically open certain programs based on the link type, but this has apparently been removed for security reasons. My goal is to make it so that a Mac user who uses Chrome, can simply press Return on a Zoom link, and it will open in Chrome, then automatically redirect to Zoom app and enter the meeting.
