Hi, After pressing option-return, the cursor is placed at the end of the formula. The step that you’re missing is to VO-left to the “Formula Options” button. VO-space on this button and select the “Show Formula as text” item. Now the formula within the cell is editable text, including the cell references. So, yes, using this process, you are able to change B40 to B45 simply by arrowing within the formula until the cursor is after the 0, pressing the Delete key, then typing the number 5, and finally pressing the return. Be sure to use the “Show Formula As Text” item, not the “Convert to Text in Cell” item as the latter will change the formula to text and the formula will be displayed in the cell and no calculation will happen. Of course, you can fix this by arrowing to the front of the text and adding the “=“ sign then pressing return.
