Hi,

Did just nothing happen, or id it seem like something was happening, but really
nothing did? I’ve never actually done it that way. After replacing drives,
I’ve started a new backup. I’m wondering if the “Delete Old Backups” item
there that you’re referring to only deletes old backups before the newest most
backup, so there is always one left behind. I’ll have to think about this some
more and do some testing. Good question.

Later…

I added an APFS volume to the TM exclusion list. Now I want to delete the old
backups for that volume. How? I found it in the sidebar and from the context
menu, select delete but this is not working. Thanks.
