Hi, Do you have Home Sharing enabled in the Sharing pane of System Prefs on your Mac?

Took a look at the TV series I am currently watching. The episode I watched last night shows "partly played" in the status column and no date in the "last date played" column. Last night I experimented. With the Mac's TV app running and ATV in the Computers app, I "played" some episode in another series that I had already watched fast forwarding most of the way and then let it finish playing. All was fine, ATV went to the next unplayed episode and all was well on the Mac. Until I closed the TV app. It's a mystery. Mac and ATV when open is fine. But some file on the Mac is not being written to when the TV app is closed. I have not been able to find out what and ehere these files are. That may be the key. >From E.T.'s Keyboard...
