Hi all, My VU is having what I suspect is a hardware issue, so in preparation for the day when it gives up the ghost, I'm again researching braille displays.
Though I'm not enthusiastic about it, it seems like the best second choice--given that I lack the $$ for an ActiveBraille--is going to be the Focus 40. Two questions: 1. Does it pair easily and work well with Mac and IOS? 2. I remember someone mentioning a crazy limitation of the scratch pad, something ridiculous like not being able to save files. What are the limitations of Scratchpad that people have found? I don't do a lot of writing on the display these days, mostly I write on my phone or my iPad but I would like the Word processor to be functional for those times when I do need to jot something down.
