Has anybody been able to edit using a braille display on MacOS. Even the
simple phrase:
"This is a test."
when I type into the Mail App on the latest Catalina, if I then click the
routing button above the 'st' and then press delete (either dot 7 or space with
dot 7) ends up deleting the character, character 'e', but then as soon as I
move away, or braille translation occurs, the word test shows up twice, once as
the corrected version and once as originally written.
This also happens to me when using an older OS. I thought I had this behavior
corrected but changing text verbosity setting to speak character before point,
but this made no difference.

Is this a quark with braille input since there is not always a direct
translation, even with UEB, a strangeness with working with a Brilliant bi or
something entirely different.
Note, usually, I only use braille for teaching myself, or to try and reproduce
issues clients have found and I have had no formal braille training. I would
like to use Braille for editing some code, but if I can't trust it to be
consistent, that would be a problem.

Thanks!
Jonathan
