That would be control-command F, but there is also a full screen mode item in
the view menu.
To enable control-left/control-right this is in the Mission Control section of
the keyboard shortcuts of the keyboard system settings.
When you first move into the VM, you have to press a key to enable the VM I
usually press space or delete, but sometimes tab. Then when you need to move
back to Macintosh applications you can press control-command followed by
control-left.
