I am tech jumping up and down! I have moved my iTunes library from High Sierra
to Catalina. I’m not certain everything is perfect yet, but all my playlists
look to be there. My play counts and date added are intact.

*presses hands together. Thank goodness. Lol, when I first got my new Mac, I
didn’t think all these little music details were important, until I remembered
I have a few playlists dependent on dates and plays.

Thanks all for offering up ideas and support. Here’s what I did in case someone
else is in this situation.

I went to music folder on my old Mac, copied iTunes folder onto an thumb drive.
On my new Mac, I made sure everything was deleted out of the music folder, I
then copied the iTunes folder from the thumb drive into the music folder. Once
that was done, I held down right option while entering on the music app on the
dock. It asked to pick out a library. I pointed it to the iTunes.itl file. This
seemed to be the trick. Music app opens and everything is there.

Hope this might help someone.
