There is a way to customize them. Just go to system preferences, interact with the table of apps, and adjust them to how often you would like to see them. Most of my are banners, and some I just turn off. But mostly you don’t want it on alerts because it will keep bothering you until you give them attention. You could also do the vo command spacebar command, go down to the close option and then it will not come back until the next one is scheduled,.
