Hello Jim and Nicolai. Many Thanks for your tips and tricks! As I said before I
was in the Comic shop and thought I'd just try it out and didn't have much time
with it. But I Recon I would get the hang of it I have already listened to Mike
Arreigo's podcats on the blind cool tech website and this is what making me
consider getting a Mac.
If anyone else has just joined this list and who are like me and seeking
infomation and questions answers etc then I incourrage you to visit.
www.blindcooltech.com and check out the Mac podcats that are there.
A very useful resource for beginners!
Daniel

Hi Daniel!
Facebook works fine for me but, as with most new things, sometimes it takes a
bit to familiarize yourself. Gon't give up on a mac after that one facebook
experience.

This is a friendly list and I am sure everybody will be happy to help.
Jim

Hello everybody, my name is Daniel and I don't actually own a Mac at the
moment but I am considering getting one. I hope I am welcom and I look forward
to reading different subject lines and genurally what is going on on the Mac
Visionaries list.
I have tryed using the Mac when ever I go to Commit to get the feel of one
lol.
And today I thought I'd be bold and try and log into facebook since one of
there computers is connected to the internet.
Well Basicly I could type in my email address but hear comes the snag! For
some reason when I VO right to the password edit box and tryed typing my
password in Voiceover wouldn't put my password in the box. Now I have heard
that you don't get feedback with passwords with voiceover but when I went to
the loggin button and did a VO space on it. for some reason it brought me back
to that same page and I couldn't tell if it had logged me in or not until I
found the email address box again. The email address box was fine but when it
came to the password box I felt like voiceover wasn't inputting what I was sure
was my password.
Have anyone notice this problem as well? Was I doing anything wrong. So much
for my 1st attempt at trying to log into facebook. This is the sort of things I
am thinking about because if I have just "dived in" and gotten a Mac with out
any thought for the way it would behave then I would of been sierously
disappointed I even tryed interacting with the password box but I just got a
bong sound which lets you know you have reached the boundary.
Any tips thoughts sergestions comments etc would be wonderful!
  Thanks
  Daniel

  P.S.
If This message contains the letters FW which stand for forward, then please
forgive me on that. When I 1st sent this email I forgot to send it with my
