Hello, I am using Apple Mail on Bigsur 11.2. Quite often Mail keeps saying “busy” when I try to read a message. I have 3 Email accounts and have set up All Inboxes so that I see all messages in a single table. When I have located a message of interest I press VO+J to read the message text. This usually works OK but quite often Apple Mail distlays the message header and then keeps saying “busy” and refuses to display the message text. It instead displays the message header and then keeps saying “busy”. Force quitting Mail and restarting Mail does not usually fix the problem and I have to go to my iPhone to read the message text. I think this may be happening if a new message arrives at the same time as I am trying to read the chosen message. This hardly ever happened on Catalinabut it started happening on Bigsur 11.1. Do others have this problem? If so is there a work around perhaps by changing my Mail preferences? Many thanks for any tips. Best … Paul Hopewell
