Oh, God! so here's what happened this morning.

I said "Siri, play Album x." Siri said, "I can't find Album X on Apple Music."
So I said, "Siri, play album X from my library." Siri said, "I can't find Album
X on Apple music." So I said, "Siri, play Artist from my library." Siri
immediately played a song from the album I'd been trying to play. So I said,"
Siri, play this album." Siri immediately switched to a different album. So, I
thought, OK, I'll just air-play it from my phone. I started the album, and went
into the control center to select the speakers where I wanted the music to
play. But the Playback Destination button in the Control center seems only to
be there for decoration. Tapping it brought up the list of speakers, but I was
not able to select and get music to play on anything other than my phone. I was
finally able to get the album to play on one of my HomePodes by holding my
phone up to it and transferring, but we all know that that sometimes works, and
sometimes doesn't. So this action, which should have been able to be
implemented with one voice command, ended up taking about fifteen minutes, and
it still wasn't playin on all the speakers where I wanted it to play.

On a more general level, our music system is a combination of HomePods and
Sonos speakers. In IOS 13, if I had the speakers grouped, and told Siri to
adjust the volume, the volume was adjusted for the whole group. Now, it is only
adjusted on the HomePod. If I want to adjust the volume on the Sonos speakers,
I either have to open the Sonos app and do it there, or manually walk over and
adjust it. There's just no excuse for that.
Cheers,
Donna
