If you are using the Google Groups web site for the MacVisionaries
list and having difficulty with the link, may I suggest that you use
the secondary Mail Archive site instead? The URL is:
http://www.mail-archive.com/macvisionaries%40googlegroups.com/
By default, the site will appear in threaded view. To switch over to
time-ordered items (most recent posts first), press:
Control-I. (For Safari on the Mac with VoiceOver enabled). The
access key combinations, their mnemonics, and their actions for Safari
are:
Control-I (items) Display items in time (posting) order, most
recent first
Control-C (content) Display posts organized by content (threaded),
most recent first
Control-N (next) Show the next post in a thread
Control-P (previous) Show the previous post in a thread
Control-F (forward) Show the next post chronologically in time
Control-B (back) Show the previous post chronologically in time
Currently, Joel's post is near the top of the time-ordered list. Just
navigate to the link and VO-Space. If you want to read up or down a
threaded post, just use Control-P or Control-N. You can also run
searches by typing your search terms in to the text box. I generally
only use the Google Groups web page for lists, like the viphone list,
which have not been set up to be archived at the Mail Archive. Joel's
post works perfectly well from the Mail Archive page.
