I agree with Herbie.  For general use, any MacBook, Air or Pro will do.  Just 
depends on how much you want to spend.
None of the current MacBooks include an SD card slot, though a USB-C dongle 
adapter can be purchased from Apple.  I have one, and it does the job nicely.
