Hi, Karen, Thanks. This one has been rough. As for the poor business practices, this is a place that is in the business of repairing computers. I see both sides of it. They don’t make money if they don’t get paid for the work they do. Apple should have some kind of contract with them, where they are reimbursed if they work on a Warren teed Apple computer. My current plan is to contact Apple in the morning, and arrange to return the computer. When I do that, I plan to tell them what happened when I took the computer to this particular service provider. Honestly, the whole thing is just a mess. I don’t know why my computer is doing this. And the behavior of the people at the third-party provider is baffling to me. It seems like if I show up with a computer that is under warranty, I shouldn’t be charged anything. So anyway, I will let Apple know that this happened Cheers, Donna
