You do not do this using F16 through F19, like on your other keyboard.

On your Magic Bluetooth keyboard, you can adjust volume using:
F11 for volume down.
F12 for volume up.
You can use F10, to Mute/Unmute.
Note: Depending on how you have your F-keys setup in Keyboard Preferences, you
may also need to use the Fn key with the above commands.

Additionally, beginning with macOS 10.12 Sierra, you can also use VO + minus
(on the number row) for volume down, and VO + equals (on the number row) for
volume up. These 2 options were introduced when the TouchBar Macs were
released in 2016. There is no alternative for Mute/Unmute.

HTH.

Hi List,
How do I get function keys F16 and f17 and f18 and f19 on my magic keyboard
using my mac book air to control volume up or down like my other wired keyboard
does on my mac mini?
I looked all over system preferences and no joy! :)
Thanks for any help on this.
PS I do have f1 and f2 and f3 and f4 on my magic keyboard using blue tooth
working ok for voiceover though?
thanks
Chuck
