Hi Les, I totally agree with you. All my Macs are set in that way. After about 10 to 15 minutes of inactivity, they will lock the screen and require a password. For laptops, this also includes when the lid is opened after being closed. It is a basic security step that, especially with finger-print and/or Apple Watch pairing, is not a hassle at all. Even entering my password is not a bother to me. I have forced this on all staff at my workplace as well, no matter how annoyed they might get with it. The thing to do is to consider the amount of time before this happens. Five minutes seems a little quick for me, but 15 to 30 is fine from my prospective.
