Hi Donna, Actually, it’s just not in the Extras menu by default. You can add it to the Extras menu either by checking the box in the Time Machine pane in System Prefs, or in the Dock & Menus pane of System Prefs. BTW, the Time Machine app in the Applications folder has always behaved in the manner you explained. When going into Time Machine via the app, that is the alternate way of getting there. That is, alternate to the Time Machine menu and selecting “Enter Time Machine”.
