If you’re referring to the Mac, I can help with the second question. You will want to go into Facetime and enable Wifi calling. under preferences At least in the past, I had to do that to be able to answer actual phone calls. Also, make sure the options for your phone number are checked. Of course, make sure you’re logged into the same iCloud account on both devices. Also, make sure on your phone that allow calls on other devices is checked.
