Thanks much, Jonathan. I followed your instructions last week but could not finish it. The Genius bar told me that Arabic keyboars are already there. I said yes I tried to add it but could not finish it. So he fixed it and told me how to switch the keyboard.
Now, I guess, I can not do anything because English keyboard is not available. Thanks! Press the Input Sources button 4. Press the add button 5. Select "Arabic" from the list that comes up. 6. Check the checkbox to display language input in the menu bar. 7. There will now be a bunch of options discussing Left to Right and Right to Left text, you will probably need to change the shortcuts listed here but I don't understand them. I would think that just selecting the appropriate language input from the language menu would be all that you need.
