Bill,

I’ve found the largest offenders are MS Edge and Safari. And the place where it
happens most often is when I tab through a field to enter my email or password.
It seems that engaging my 1password extension causes a drain on processor
resources. Tabbing past the edit field relieves the problem. Not sure what to
do to fix, except remove the extension.

I’ve recently been experiencing far too much of “(Name the Application) Busy”
with hardly ever more than three apps open on my Mac. The greatest offenders
appear to be Mail and Safari although even Finder goes into this very
aggravating mode far too frequently. I do have the latest version of MacOS
installed and, although I can’t swear to it, it does seem to have worsened with
that latest update.

Can anybody offer any insights to this phenomena?
