In the Windows world (sorry for swearing on the list) pressing “n” once will take you to the first item starting with the letter n, and pressing it a second time will take you to another item starting with n. In the Mac world, this is different. Pressing n will simply take you to the same, first alphabetically, n word each time. As Dave mentioned, if you wish to get to Notifications, then press n o, or n o t and you should land there.
