Hi James, thanx for your answer. I know that this is the default key for the help but it's not the same as search interactive. With search interactive, the system will also search in the menu-items of the current program So, jou have direct results in a table and its a fast way to search and activate menu-items.
Also, the function to link hotkeys to menu-items can be very useful in other situations. Someone told me that there are some bugs in the system to assign hotkeys to menu-items. I am courious in your experiences... best regards, William Op 30-mrt-2010, om 19:58 heeft James & Nash het volgende geschreven: > Hi William, > On 30 Mar 2010, at 11:06, William Windels wrote: >> I would like to assign hotkeys to menu-items of programs. >> I can do this in the item keyboard > hotkeys in system preferences.. >> >> e.g.: I want to assign the key F1 to the item "search interactive" , that's >> available in the help- > > Why not just press Command Shift question mark?
