Hi, it seems to me Apple Books is broken in many ways. Just deleted the app and reinstalled it. Let see if that‘s helpful. The issues I had: • stopped turning pages using VO • stopped randomely reading in middle of a page • the special reader doesn‘t work at all since iOS 15 • using the bar at the bottom to navigate quickly to another page forward or backward tells me I‘m at the desired page but infact VO reads at the old position I was before • often Apple Books looses the page position where I left
Hopefully it‘ll be fixed in iOS 15.1. And it‘s so sad Apple doesn‘t releas fully working software anymore. OK, bugs are quite normal but it seems to me the big releases are not more than beta versions which had to become released at a certain date. But I do beleive the accessibility team works really hard to keep VO as powerful as it is. It‘s more an issue of the other parts of the company.
