Pretty much any monitor will work. Be aware that the Mac mini has an HDMI port, so if the monitor you choose has something other than an HDMI port, you will need an adapter/dongle to connect the monitor to the mini’s HDMI port.
For example, Apple sells a DVI to HDMI adapter for $29.
