Hi, When aligning anything to do with the camera from a blind prospective, do the following:
• Set the old iPhone, or Apple Watch on a flat surface like a table or counter. • Bring the camera very close to the older iPhone, or Apple Watch etc. • Make sure that the lens for this iPhone is somewhat centred over the old iPhone or Apple Watch. • Slowly lift the camera iPhone straight up and away from the older iPhone or Apple Watch, usually only to about 50 cm or 18 inches at the most. • Normally, you’ll feel a haptic vibration, and the iPhone will announce something, as it recognizes that you’ve accomplished the task. • If you do not feel the vibration, or hear the prompt that it completed, then repeat the above steps starting where you bring the camera close to the device on the flat surface. This has worked for me every time. Usually on the first or second try when raising the iPhone. In fact, I just did this with a new Apple Watch on Thursday. HTH.
