Tim,
yeah. I’m in touch with the guy who built my Windows DAW. He might know
something. I suppose it doesn’t really matter since I CAN access the Windows
machine from the Mac. So, as long as I have access in one direction and can
push and pull, as it were, I should be fine. It’s just frustrating when
something seems like it should be obvious and I can’t figure it out.
One last point. I did manage to get access to the Mac from Windows by typing:
Smb://192.168.xxx.xx. I was initially offered a screen from where I could type
in my credentials. I assume that was my Mac credentials. I thought I’d typed
them in correctly but after two or maybe three failures, I was given a message
that says,
You need a new app to open this smb link. It asked me to look in the Microsoft
Store where I found nothing. So, I may have burned an opportunity there.
I don’t want to log out of this machine. Where do I find my user name? I know
my PW is correct. I thought my user name was kevjazz. It may be kevinlgibbs
or Kevin L Gibbs where would I find out?
Thanks,
Kevin
