Hi, Mary, I’m having a similar issue, though it sounds like it’s not as severe as the one you’re having. Whenever I play a playlist, the Homepod just skips a bunch of songs. This morning, this happened, and when I tried to go back to an earlier title using the Previous Track button, I could only go back so far, and then it treated that track as though it were the first song in the playlist, even though it was probably the sixth or seventh track. For me this started happening some time on Friday. I’m thinking something must be screwed up on Apple’s end, though I can’t imagine what would cause this. And I agree, it’s bloody annoying.
Hoping someone on this list has a solution, but I suspect there won’t be one until Apple fixes whatever’s causing the problem.
