Hi, The behaviour of not showing you your own replies within group conversations is normal in Google Groups when you are a G Mail user. You can probably set it to cc yourself for sent eMails, but that would be painful in my opinion.
If your Mail Prefs are set to RTF, then they should be HTML at the other end.
