Hi Mark, Basically, the WatchOS is not as robust at this point as iOS, iPadOS or MacOS. When adding languages, it appears that you are adding the default base voice for that language. So, if you added Australian, you’d have Samantha for the US English default voice and Karen for the Australian voice. If you added British English instead, you’d have Samantha and Daniel. Now, since you added US English, you have Samantha and Samantha :). An extra clarification though to your understanding. Donna did not simply enable Siri on her watch, what was suggested was to tell the watch to use the Siri voice instead of the base voice for the selected language. This setting is found in Settings, Accessibility, VoiceOver. This setting makes it so that your selected Siri voice is used for VoiceOver speech. In my testing, when this is selected, switching English languages using the rotor will not actually change the voice though, as the Siri voice seems to have taken control. I’m not sure though if this is the case if you choose a non-English language as your alternative.
