Hi, I experience the same on my MacBook M1 Pro. I guess it's the new version 
which eventually is compatible to the M1 chips. Unfortunately it's no longer 
possible to see the status of up and downloads.
To open this menu it's not enough to use VO Space. You need to route the mouse 
pointer there and perform a left mouse click.
